Hiking in Palos Verdes has grown exponentially in the last few years as social media has showed incredible views and nice trails with good access. With more people enjoying the hiking trails in Palos Verdes there are some challenges with traffic and preservation of the trails and habitat. Its very important to respect the natural landscape, plants, and animals and now there is more concern about social distancing.
The Palos Verdes Land Conservancy has a Volunteer Trail Watch group that reports vandalism and trail issues, and also offers advice for hikers on the trails. Here is a map of trails and good hiking spots that Palos Verdes has to offer. Some have little parking and most of these are very busy on the weekend.

There is also some great mountain biking in Palos Verdes, however, with more hikers, the biking trails are limited.
Palos Verdes has great hiking trails throughout the City offering challenging hills and spectacular ocean views. There are several various species of natural coastal sage scrub and many local animals native to Palos Verdes.
