Palos Verdes, the land of green hills is a beautiful peninsula that sticks out into the Pacific Ocean facing Santa Catalina Island. The height from the hill and terraced streets allow for panoramic ocean view properties and on the other side, city light views. There is acres of open land for hiking and sightseeing natures plants and livestock. Palos Verdes happens to be a great bird watching area and is host to a small blue butterfly native to PV and extremely rare also on the endangered species list.
The schools in PV are at the top of the ranking system. Home prices start around a million and depend highly on which of the four cities they reside, upgrades, and view. Each neighborhood changes a lot due to the orientation to the sun and ocean and the general construction of the neighborhood.
